COLORADO CONDO FILE · FHA PROJECT CHECK

Is this condo community FHA approved?

Open HUD’s live project record before an FHA buyer counts on the building. Then have the lender check the exact unit.

SEARCH THE OFFICIAL RECORD

02 / READ THE RESULT

Three fields decide what to ask next.

STATUSApproved?

Read the status in HUD’s dated result.

PROJECT ID / SUBMISSIONRight phase?

Match the building or phase, not only the community name.

EXPIRATION DATEStill current?

Recheck before relying on the result in a transaction.

APPROVEDTake the ID, phase, address and result date to the lender. Project approval alone does not approve a unit or borrower.

EXPIRED OR NO MATCHIt is not currently shown as approved. Try the legal name, then ask a lender if this unit could use Single-Unit Approval.

REJECTED OR WITHDRAWNDo not assume the unit qualifies or is permanently barred. A lender must check HUD’s reason and any adverse determination before considering Single-Unit Approval.

03 / TAKE IT TO THE LENDER

Ask about this unit, not just this building.

Send the unit address, HUD project ID and phase if found, result date, and contract deadlines. Only the lender can determine whether this unit and loan meet current requirements.

FHA LOAN SHAREHow many units already have FHA loans or assigned case numbers? This limit matters for Single-Unit Approval.

ONE OWNER’S SHAREDoes one owner hold too much of the project? This is a separate ownership check.
